What industries might benefit from Forward Minds Consulting training services?
Find your industry to learn how we might help support your organization and employees.
Many non-profit organizations are often burdened with unstable funding and a heavy workload, which can cause stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue for employees. Supporting your staff with trainings and workshops on mental health and managing stress can be vital to ensuring the organization's success. The Compassion Fatigue and Burnout training is just one of our offerings that could help support your staff.
Non-Profit/Social Services:
Healthcare:
Healthcare professionals face immense stress, long hours, and emotional exhaustion, often leading to burnout and mental health challenges. By providing mental health support through training and workshops, organizations can help improve staff well-being, reduce turnover, and promote better patient care. Mental health initiatives foster a positive work environment where employees feel supported and are better equipped to manage stress.
Our Compassion Fatigue and Burnout training is just one offering that could help support your staff. Trauma-Informed Care is another training that would assist your staff in providing compassionate and quality care.
Mental Health Organizations:
Workers in the mental health field experience significant emotional strain which can cause exhaustion and burnout and lead to poor quality of care for clients. By offering mental health and wellness workshops, organizations can improve employee well-being, reduce turnover, and enhance the quality of care provided.
Some trainings we offer that could benefit your organization are: Compassion Fatigue and Burnout, Trauma-Informed Crisis De-escalation Skills, and Suicide Risk Assessment & Intervention.
Educational Institutions:
Educators and academic staff often encounter unique stressors, including balancing heavy workloads, addressing complex student needs, and meeting institutional expectations. Academic institutions should provide ongoing mental health training and workshops to help staff cope with stress and prevent burnout. By fostering a supportive environment, schools can promote resilience, improve staff retention, and create a healthier atmosphere for both learning and teaching.
Trauma-Informed Crisis De-escalation Skills and Suicide Risk Assessment & Intervention are two trainings that we offer that could support both your staff and students.
Construction:
Workers in the construction industry experience high levels of stress, physical demands, and safety risks, all of which can contribute to mental health challenges. Statistics show that construction workers face higher rates of suicide and substance use compared to many other professions, highlighting the urgent need for mental health support in this field. By implementing mental health trainings for workers and leaders, companies can improve employee well-being, reduce absenteeism, and boost overall productivity.
Our Mental Health Basics and Suicide Risk Assessment and Intervention workshops are two offerings that your organization might utilize to support your staff. Leaders or supervisors might benefit from our Crisis De-escalation training as well as Conflict Resolution.

The Ethical Dilemmas of Burnout and Compassion Fatigue:
This training outlines and distinguishes the concepts of burnout and compassion fatigue (BO/CF) and what factors can lead to it. It then addresses the personal and professional consequences of BO/CF as well as the ethical dilemmas we face as professionals if we do experience BO/CF. Finally, there is discussion of ways to manage/reduce BO/CF in order to feel healthier and more balanced.

Trauma-Informed Crisis De-escalation Skills:
This interactive training first defines the crisis and what can lead someone to have a personal crisis. Finally it allows participants the opportunity to practice their new skills.
